Early Life

Legal Drama

Following a weapon charge in 2011, Lil Durk faced ongoing legal issues. After being released on bond, he returned to serve an additional 87 days. On June 5, 2013, he was arrested on South Green Street in Chicago for allegedly discarding a loaded handgun into his car when approached by police. Held on a bond of $100,000, his attorney claimed to have nine witness affidavits that supported Durk’s innocence, with one witness stating the gun belonged to him.
